Hearing Health at Rainier Hearing
Your hearing is an important part of who you are. At Rainier Hearing, we provide a wide range of services to help you hear better. From hearing tests to the latest hearing aids, we can help you with all of your hearing related needs. Our hearing instrument specialists are passionate about helping our clients experience better hearing. We want you to be able to hear and communicate with your family and friends. That’s why we offer a wide range of services to help you.
We pride ourselves on providing our clients with a clean and safe environment for their hearing care. We are taking great care in cleaning between appointments and making our offices virus free. The well-being of our clients is our priority, and we are happy we can continue to help you with your hearing care during this time.
Our Services
- Hearing Testing: We offer comprehensive hearing tests to identify the type and severity of hearing loss you have. If you already had your hearing tested somewhere, we ask that you bring your audiogram with you to your appointment. We will review your audiogram and if needed we may test your hearing again to compare the results. Otherwise we will move forward with the hearing aid process based on your audiogram. If you haven’t had your hearing tested prior to coming in, then we can perform a hearing test in-office.
- Hearing Aid Fitting: After we decide if you would be a good candidate for hearing aids, then we will go over your options. We carry a wide range of hearing aids at different levels of technology. Once we decide which hearing aid will best suit your individual hearing needs, we will program and fit them to your ears. We want you to hear comfortably, that’s why we will take our time to program the hearing aids to a level that is comfortable for you to hear. We will also expertly fit the hearing aids to your unique ear shape to ensure they rest comfortably in your ears.
- Hearing Aid Batteries: We like to save you money. We offer fresh name-brand batteries, often times cheaper than the big stores. Don’t get caught with a bad batch of batteries from no-name dealers. For the same money, you can get fresh name-brand batteries that will not ruin your hearing aids.
- Hearing Aid Repair and Maintenance: During the initial adjustment period, you will see us one to three times, depending on what adjustments will be needed to make your hearing aids customized to your needs. After that period is over, we recommend coming back every four to six months to have your hearing aids professionally cleaned; at which time, any adjustments you want made can be done as well. These services are included with every hearing aid purchase. If you need service or a repair, we can handle it immediately for you. We don’t want you to go without the ability to hear well. Often times, we have loaner hearing aids to help you until your hearing aid is repaired.
- Hearing Protection: We offer custom hearing protection to keep your ears and your hearing safe. Custom hearing protection is the best way to be proactive about your hearing health. Hearing protection should be worn anytime you are in an environment where the noise is loud and could potentially damage your hearing. Whether you are hunting, at the shooting range, at a concert, or use power tools, you should wear hearing protection. We also offer musicians ear plugs which are a great way to protect your hearing if you attend music events regularly.
Home Visits
CaptionCall
We offer CaptionCall – a phone service that not only amplifies the call, but also has a screen where you can read what the other person is saying. These are a great safety feature for anyone experiencing hearing loss.
